The
view of the Estaiada bridge was what motivated the purchase of this
237 m² apartment in São Paulo – and it was also the north of the interior design project signed by
Maycon Altera , from the
CASACOR Minas Gerais cast, designed for a couple with a small child.
"The only structural change was the demolition of the service
bathroom to expand the office. Otherwise, the focus was to highlight the view from the apartment. In fact, we didn't even specify a curtain," says the architect.

The clients already had a pre-defined color palette based on references. In addition to the
wood , there are several touches of blue throughout the apartment: the color appears in the carpet, kitchen, wallpaper in the bathroom, the son's bedroom and the hall.

"The room is very spacious and has 100% openness to the cable-stayed bridge. Here, we prioritized connecting the living room to the kitchen, which has the possibility of closing off the carpentry," says Maycon.

Natural oak joinery covers most of the walls in the living room and kitchen. The pantry features navy blue Provençal furniture.

In the
bathroom , the wallpaper designed by the Englishman
William Morris in the 1860s frames the overlapping mirrors.

In the office, the collection of mini chairs acquired over a long period of time during the client's travels around the world adorns the shelves.
