The project of Casa 11 was born from the desire of architect
Walter Schimmelpfeng and the
Andrade Schimmelpfeng office (and cast of
CASACOR Bahia) to exchange life in an
apartment for the experience of living in a home connected to the street, to nature, and to a calmer life rhythm. The chosen residence—a construction over 40 years old that had been abandoned for a long time—called for a new breath of life.
