The renovation of this apartment brought about a radical transformation across its 270 m², eliminating partitions and shifting the location of strategic rooms, such as the powder room and the suite master, to create a layout unrecognizable from the original. The design by the studio Sala2 Arquitetura (part of CASACOR São Paulo) prioritized the total integration of the social area — which now brings together the home theater, living room, and dining room with excellent circulation — and the optimized use of the balcony.

Meeting the residents' desire for a timeless home bathed in natural light, the decor embraces "chic simplicity," using natural oak, light gray rugs, and functional furnishings in shades of brown.

Day-to-day practicality with small children is balanced by the versatility of a built-in panel between the kitchen and the dining room, which allows alternating the project between formal occasions and casual gatherings.

The furniture, all specified by the studio, moves toward elemental, functional design, as seen in the consoles in the bedrooms, in the very choice of the bed in the master suite and the wallpaper behind it.

The same principle appears in the children's bedrooms and in the closet: decor choices with few embellishments and with greater prominence given to the light, calibrated in its intensity and reach.
