Located in Vila Mariana, São Paulo, this complete renovation project signed by Ana Weege (from the cast of CASACOR São Paulo) transformed a duplex penthouse of 330 m² into a retreat of accessibility, lightness, and functionality.

The central point of the intervention was to ensure the total autonomy of the resident, a wheelchair user, which required complex engineering solutions, such as cutting the slab and structural reinforcement with metal beams for the installation of a lift platform, connecting the two floors independently.

The visual concept relies on a mix of styles — a trademark of the office — using a palette of noble and natural materials. The ground floor received the application of a joint-free cementitious mass, eliminating grouts and unevenness, which enhances the flow of circulation.

On the walls, the concrete slats and sucupira wood panels stand out, while the custom cabinetry, made of natural walnut veneer, features rounded corners to facilitate passage and touch.

The choice of finishes reinforces the sophistication of the property: Emerald Green granite covers the lavabo, the TV rack, and the staircase, creating a visual continuity that guides the eye.

In the external area, the balconies were covered with granite flakes, maintaining the original positions of the pool and the barbecue. To ensure an obstacle-free layout, it was opted not to use rugs, fabric curtains on the lower floor, or coffee tables.
