This interior design project signed by the office
Sala2 Arquitetura – from the cast of
CASACOR São Paulo – transformed a
230 m² apartment into a true refuge, merging high-standard design and smart solutions for a young couple planning to expand their family. Starting from a bare apartment, the work focused on defining the use of each space, the flow, the layout, and the finishes, culminating in the specification of impressive furniture.

The standout feature of the project is the careful selection of design pieces, reflecting the husband's passion, a furniture designer, for signed creations. The
living room, for example, features Blast center tables by
Ronald Sasson, made of concrete and organic shape. They complement the Quadrúpede Eva sculpture by
Florian Raiss, and the Caat armchair by
Roberta Banqueri, which in a pink tone dialogues with other works of art and decorative elements.

The wood and fabric used in the wall coverings are not only aesthetic but also strategic for acoustic comfort, ensuring more coziness in the space.

The project challenged the original structure to create more fluid projects. To integrate the living room with the
balcony, a beam was camouflaged with a lowered ceiling, maintaining the ceiling height. Another solution was the console embedded in the pillar that appears to float, requiring precise structural calculations.

The
bathroom features a sculpted stone sink that contrasts with the freijó wood. The faucet signed by
Estúdio Campana completes the space.

Technology was also an ally:
to maintain the clean look of the living room, the home theater equipment was remotely allocated, and an infrared control system allows the use of the TV without the need for a traditional rack, making space for a bolder design in the cabinetry.

Designed with the future in mind, the apartment reflects the desires and personality of its residents, featuring a generous dining room that can be integrated or isolated by a sliding door, adapting to the needs of the growing family.
