Purchased off-plan, this
apartment of
350 m², in Teresina (PI), received a project signed by
Vangii Guerra, from the cast of
CASACOR Piauí. "The client requested a contemporary home with personality and striking classic elements, such as boiseries, chandeliers, mirrors, and some furniture, a very spacious living room, and a place to display her
Murano glass collection, composed of over 50 pieces," reveals the architect.

The concept of the project thus started from the client's wish list. To make the living room larger, for example, Vangii integrated the
balcony, the lavabo, and the
bedroom of one of the four original suites and transformed her
bathroom into the new lavabo.
Meanwhile, the Murano collection found a home in the suspended bookcase in the living room, designed in carpentry with 27 niches, gray finish, and natural stone backing. (Denilson Machado, do MCA Estúdio/Divulgação)
In the decoration, most of the adornments come from the clients' collection, brought back from numerous travels. Among the signed design pieces, the architect mentions the Rio rocking chaise by
Oscar Niemeyer, the Tonico armchair by
Sergio Rodrigues, and the Shell armchair and Luisa chairs by
Estudiobola.

Also highlighted in the living room are the modular island sofa, the sliding doors with boiseries in flag green (which separate the dining room from the
kitchen), the gray Turkish rug measuring 7 x 5 m (imported especially for the space), and the
photograph with gas balloons, by Flávia Junqueira, in the bar area.

Regarding the color palette, as the idea was to create an elegant and sophisticated apartment, in the living room, the architect adopted
a base in shades of gray, off white, and green and combined it with
carpentry in pau-ferro veneer (darker wood with well-defined grain), present in the panels that line some walls and part of the ceiling and in the cabinets of the gourmet space.

In the
couple's bedroom, to ensure a calm and relaxing atmosphere, Vangii blended lighter shades of gray and off white.
