The main reason for the renovation of this
370 m² house in Indaiatuba (SP) was to transform the vacation retreat into a home for the family to live in during retirement. Architect
Beatriz Quinelato – from the
CASACOR SP lineup – drew inspiration from the residents' own story to create the design, aiming to build a home where memories can be created for the next generation.

“Although it is a project for living, we wanted to maintain the feel of a
country house, with plenty of natural materials, a lot of texture, and functional furniture,” the professional explains. Functionality was not sidelined, with the acquisition of various new furniture and appliances – everything was designed for continuous and long-lasting use.

The
entrance hall was designed as an art gallery, featuring an organic mirror, tapestry on the wall, plants, a Girafa chair, and an imposing brass pendant light.

Natural materials dominate: there is
reclaimed wood in the porch cabinets,
corten steel in the TV room, and
natural stone in the walls and fireplace. "We always seek to combine materiality and its textures to bring something sensory, bringing elements from the outside to the inside," says Beatriz.

On the
external balcony, neutral tones were chosen to create a cozy atmosphere. The organic coating resembles stones, much like the rocks already existing on the property's land.

The
kitchen with dining area was isolated from the living room to be more functional for day-to-day and to increase the receiving space in the living area.

In the intimate area, each
suite received a different color, which accompanies the decor of its respective bathrooms.

The master suite received a generously sized countertop at the client's request, as she does
scrapbook as a hobby.
