Casa de praia com rooftop ganha ampla área de lazer e décor azul

The architect and interior designer Érica Salguero – from the cast of CASACOR São Paulo – was challenged to create a beach house in Barra da Tijuca (RJ) for a São Paulo client seeking a carioca retreat. The result was a project that combines the lightness of beach style with sophisticated solutions, designed to provide moments of leisure and well-being for the family. "The request was clear: to create a cozy and functional home, with a vacation vibe, but without sacrificing sophistication," explains Érica.

The living room, marked by the double ceiling height, integrates the social area with the living and dining spaces. "I opted for a sculptural pendant that became the protagonist in the projects, as well as a rug in shades of blue that evokes the sea, connecting the interior to the beach scenario," she shares. The dining room follows the same timeless language, highlighting the Calacata marble niche, which reinforces the sophistication of the area.

In the outdoor area, the pool is the main gathering point of the house, embraced by a project that prioritizes socializing and leisure. Next to it, the integrated barbecue and generous furniture create a perfect project for gathering friends and family during relaxed moments, always with great style. Comfortable sofas, sun loungers, and side tables were strategically arranged, allowing different uses and ensuring well-being on any occasion.

The kitchen, in absolute white, received technological materials that combine visual freshness and practicality, keeping up with the laid-back rhythm of the house.

In the intimate area, the couple's bedroom was designed to convey calm and coziness. The soft palette in light tones creates the perfect base for the navy blue linen headboard, which evokes the sea breeze and brings an atmosphere of freshness and sophistication.

As an extension of this retreat, the private balcony has taken on a spa-like atmosphere. A hot tub and a bungalow come together in a space designed to slow down, contemplate the landscape, and experience moments of absolute relaxation, as if every day were vacation.

The son's room brings versatility and identity, with two single beds and paintings that pay tribute to rock icons.

The rooftop completes the project with a laid-back atmosphere: green furniture made of sun and rain-resistant technical fabric, ideal for hosting friends or simply enjoying the view.
