This
414 m² house (plus 40 m² of external area) is located in a beachfront condominium in Juquehy, on the northern coast of São Paulo, and is designed by architect
Beatriz Quinelato – part of the
CASACOR São Paulo lineup. "The first thing I was asked for was a
fresh, light, and bright house that conveyed tranquility, coziness, a connection with nature, and without appearing clichéd or stereotyped with the beach theme," the professional says.

To accommodate the family during vacations and weekends (a group of up to 10 people), the architect prioritized a
spacious circulation with minimal and efficient furniture. Everything in
light tones and easy maintenance. "We used synthetic leather and high-performance fabric that allows cleaning without damaging the weave," she explains.

The
light wood was the foundation of all the furniture, and the carpentry was all developed specifically for the project. Other natural textures – such as
straw – appear in the furniture and decorative objects. In the
suites, the wardrobe doors have laser-cut grooves that aid ventilation.

"All the furniture was carefully chosen and designed so that there was almost no metal that could risk being damaged by the salt air. The fabrics are durable and easy to clean and maintain," says Beatriz. The sideboards in the rooms serve as support for opening a suitcase, leaving a shoe or basket, and supporting items like towels and toy boxes.

The suites are quite spacious and have layouts with a queen bed and single bed, plus sofa beds. "We used colors to differentiate each suite. Also, to bring an interesting and easily executed element, we opted for polypropylene slats used in a grid format on the entire wall or defining the bed area. The solution also appears in a curved model applied only on half a wall or still in a single slat defining the limit between the two painting colors on the wall," she explains,

The sliding door of the dining room frames a beautiful garden, and when opened, the integration is complete. "In the
external area, the furniture uses upholstered seating, made with high-performance fabric in green, creating a projects that is monochromatic and integrated with the garden," she concludes.
