Ebony wood barn house camouflages in preserved projects

Signed by the office Rodra Arquitetura – from the lineup of CASACOR São Paulo – this house of approximately 130 m² was built in a preserved projects area and is inspired by the architecture of traditional barns.

The project was conceived to interact with the surrounding landscape, resulting in an authentic architecture that respects the natural beauty of the surroundings. Ebony wood is the main element of the coverings, reinforcing the rustic and timeless aesthetic.

The supports for the brises at the entrance, as well as all the frames, were designed to refer to the construction of classic barns, evoking the farm atmosphere. The cabinetry plays an essential role in the project, serving as the base for the mezzanine and the staircases, while the front frames were developed in metalworking, ensuring a balance between robustness and delicacy.

To reinforce the vintage proposal, the curation of appliances followed a retro line, bringing references that evoke past times without giving up contemporary functionality.

The project also bets on moments of contemplation: two strategically positioned bathtubs offer a privileged view of the reserve and the vineyards, providing a unique experience of connection with nature.
