Located in Beberibe, on the coast of Ceará, this house for weekend getaways was designed from scratch by architect Fernando Costa, with interiors signed by architect Lara Linhares (from the CASACOR Ceará lineup), developed simultaneously and in an integrated manner. Facing Lagoa do Uruaú, the residence with 635 sqm of built area occupies an 11,000 sqm plot and was conceived for a young couple, without children, who sought to translate their lifestyle into a refuge of rest and reconnection.

The project's starting point was the desire to create a contemporary, sensory and welcoming projects, inspired by the atmosphere of Bali's interior architecture, reinterpreted in a way sensitive to the local context. The proposal values fluidity between spaces, encouraging conviviality and a closer relationship with nature, with projects that open up to the landscape and favor natural lighting and ventilation.

In this scenario, the layout enhances the view of the lagoon and establishes a continuous connection between interior and exterior, including in the leisure pavilion, which gathers a pool, gourmet area and living room. To enable this spatial lightness, a mixed construction system was adopted, with reinforced concrete in the more enclosed volumes and metallic structure in the social areas, allowing wider spans and greater visual permeability.

In the interiors, the project led by Lara Linhares reinforces this atmosphere of slowing down through a clear base in natural tones, enriched by textures, weaves and materials in raw tones. Wood emerges as a central element, contributing to coziness, while the décor selection — composed entirely of pieces acquired especially for the house — privileges naturalness and values works by Ceará artists.

Furniture, lighting fixtures and objects were chosen with rigor, balancing aesthetics and comfort in a cohesive narrative that runs through all the projects. As a synthesis, the house presents itself as a refuge that balances architecture, interiors and landscape, with furniture conceived as an extension of the concept.

In the outdoor area, the pool clad in natural Aquamarine stone and the cumaru wood deck dialogue with the proposed materiality and with the landscape.

Among the highlights, the master suite translates the project's concept by integrating bedroom and bathroom in a single project, with a layout oriented toward the view and direct connection to the outdoor area. The wooden ceiling intensifies the feeling of warmth and reinforces the intimate character of the space. "In general, the decor can be defined as contemporary with a natural influence, marked by clean lines, organic elements and a subtle reference to Balinese lifestyle, perceptible in the fluidity of the spaces and in the choice of materials," concludes Lara.
