Located in Brooklin (SP), this house of 550 m², situated in a high-end gated community, underwent an extensive renovation designed by Deborah Roig Arquitetos Associados, led by Deborah Roig (from the CASACOR cast). The intervention completely redesigned the property, previously marked by a more conventional configuration, to accurately translate the lifestyle of its resident — an independent executive, passionate about horses, wines, art and the act of hosting.

From the outset, the project was designed to accompany this dynamic and social routine, balancing sophistication and warmth. The proposal went beyond aesthetic interventions and involved significant structural changes, with the aim of integrating the indoor projects with the landscaping designed by Bia Abreu, also from the CASACOR cast. The connection between the living room and the garden was one of the central points, materialized in solutions such as an organically designed bench, created by the architect herself as an extension of the social area, in addition to a lounge with a fire pit dedicated to contemplating the sky — one of the resident's favorite rituals.

Distributed across four floors, the residence clearly organizes the different functions. In the basement are the garage, as well as support areas such as a storage room, pantry, laundry area and a sports closet designed to accommodate equestrian and ski equipment, an activity the resident practices frequently throughout the year.

On the ground floor, the social area is structured around a large living room, which brings together lounge and dining, integrated with a sophisticated kitchen marked by elements in fendi tones. Mashrabiya panels allow the projects to be isolated or connected depending on the occasion, ensuring flexibility in the use of the spaces. "One of the main challenges of the project was precisely to ensure that all projects, even though generous in size, maintained a fluid relationship with each other, meeting both daily routines and social events, without compromising aesthetic unity," says Deborah.

The materiality and the furniture reinforce this narrative. In the entrance hall, the mashrabiya woodwork runs through the projects, filtering the light and creating a subtle interplay between transparency and privacy. Right upon arrival, the Sela swing, designed by Bruno Carvalho and made in caramel leather, establishes a direct connection with the world of equestrianism, one of the resident's passions. Pieces by designers such as Jader Almeida and Sergio Rodrigues are combined with artworks and objects loaded with meaning, carefully arranged on elements such as the living room shelving unit, designed to house memories and affections.

On the second floor, the suitemaster suite was conceived as a refuge, with a neutral base and leather details that reinforce the sense of comfort. The closet, a long-standing wish of the client, occupies the space of two former bedrooms and was fully customized, combining functionality and elegance.

On the top level, the rooftop concentrates the leisure areas, with a gourmet space integrated with the pool, sauna, and home theater. The project was designed to favor socializing and expand the relationship between interior and exterior, creating an ideal setting for gatherings and moments of relaxation.

“The choice of colors and materials played a fundamental role in the unity of the project. The palette, anchored in earthy tones such as terracotta and caramel, makes a direct reference to the equestrian universe, while also bringing sophistication and warmth to the projects”, concludes Deborah Roig.
