"The main challenge was to create a new proposal, in an existing property, that balanced aesthetic sophistication with the functionality required by a family with four children," explains architect Romário Rodrigues.

The restructuring prioritized communicating projects and an outdoor area connected to the interior. "The outdoor area gained prominence as a true space for family bonding, with a deck and pool that visually integrate with the living room and kitchen."

The neutral palette — composed of grays, off-whites, ivory, and earthy tones — serves as the base for the proposal. Paired with materials such as quartzite, natural wood, muxarabi, stones, and brushed metals, it reinforces the feeling of continuity, enhanced by the porcelain tile that runs through the projects. "We chose to work with noble materials that combine beauty and durability," comments Romário.

Affective objects also play a central role in the decor. "The house is filled with personal items that tell the family's story. The living room shelf was designed as a gallery of memories, where each shelf reveals a fragment of the residents' journey," claims the architect, highlighting the intention to unite practicality with the emotional character of the collection.

The art curation reinforces this narrative, with works by João Carlos Galvão, Jaildo Marinho, and Cadeh Juaçaba in the social area. Among the standout furniture pieces are the Chapada sofa by Roberta Banqueri, in a wine tone, and the green armchair by Jader Almeida, along with design pieces distributed throughout the other projects.
