Located in Alto da Boa Vista (SP), this three-story residence gained new life through a complete renovation designed by architect Rafaella Manso, a professional from the CASACOR São Paulo lineup. Set on a 750 m² lot, with 366 m² of built area, the house was designed to meet the needs of a family made up of a couple, two children at different stages of childhood, and three dogs. The starting point of the project was the desire to swap a 170 m² apartment for a more spacious routine, connected to greenery and the outdoors, without giving up the strategic location where the family concentrates its daily activities.

The presence of nature was decisive in the conception of the project and is revealed right upon arrival, with the preservation of a large tree in the front garden, which came to guide the architectural choices. The adopted language is welcoming and timeless, marked by the use of natural materials such as wood and moledo stone, and by the balanced combination of references from American farmhouse and Provençal architecture.

The renovation included significant structural interventions, such as opening spans to integrate the projects, leveling the floors, redesigning the staircase, and creating new openings that favor natural lighting and cross ventilation, in addition to the complete modernization of the installations.

The internal layout was reorganized to enhance socializing and leisure, with the creation of spaces dedicated to family life, such as a home theater, living room with a fireplace, lunch room, home office, pet area, game room with a pool table, and a gourmet area equipped with a pizza oven and a grill.

The façade underwent a requalification that reinforces the project's identity. The Portuguese stone sidewalk, the corten steel portico with recessed linear lighting, and the brick cladding create a rustic and contemporary composition. The definition of independent accesses for vehicles, pedestrians, and services brought more functionality to daily life, while the natural wood frames and the access staircase integrated with the landscaping reinforce the fluid relationship between architecture and nature.

Inside, the social hall sets the tone of the project with the use of moledo stone in dry joints, which gives texture and solidity to the space. The blue lacquered cabinetry introduces contrast and contemporaneity, while the large-scale mirror visually expands the projects and reflects the garden, strengthening the integration with the exterior.

The powder room follows the same sensory approach, with botanical wallpaper that guides the color palette, soft green cabinetry, Guatemala Green marble countertop and black metals, resulting in an elegant and welcoming space.

The staircase was transformed into a standout architectural element, with neutral-toned steps, a glass guardrail, a wooden handrail with built-in lighting and a side wall of moledo stone. On the social floor, the 60 m² main living room integrates lounge, fireplace and dining area in a spacious, bright and inviting projects. The neutral base, wooden floor and generous use of natural light create a welcoming atmosphere, while the fireplace clad in moledo stone becomes the focal point of the space.

Custom-made shelves and slatted wooden panels with built-in lighting enhance the ceiling height and reinforce the sense of coziness. The dining area balances rusticity and sophistication, with a rectangular table, natural cane chairs, a contemporary chandelier and artworks that give affective identity to the projects.

The kitchen, in a U shape, was designed as one of the main living spaces of the house. The central island of white quartz accommodates cane stools and connects to the lunch area with an upholstered German bench. The moss green cabinetry, of Provençal inspiration, dialogues with black handles, light-colored finishes and LED lighting. The laundry room, separated by a wooden sliding door, maintains the same visual language and was planned to optimize daily use.

On the upper floor, the intimate living room functions as a home theater and family gathering space. The fendi-toned cabinetry, wood panels, and cane doors ensure visual lightness and proper ventilation for the equipment. Layered lighting allows for the creation of different atmospheres, while the comfortable sofa, full-bodied curtains, and sideboard with a mini fridge and coffee maker reinforce the welcoming character of the space. The home office was designed for simultaneous use by the couple, with a continuous countertop, custom cabinetry, and a slatted wood panel that displays the resident's automotive collection.

The teenage son's bedroom adopts a contemporary and urban language, with exposed concrete, shades of blue and black, and cabinetry integrated into the study countertop. The baby's room follows a playful and sensorial narrative, inspired by the Baby Yoda universe, with a hand-painted panel, a fiber optic starry sky, RGB lighting, and soft green tones.

The master suite embraces a serene and sophisticated atmosphere, with a wooden panel, fendi lacquer cabinetry, upholstered headboard, and soft lighting. The couple's bathroom was conceived as a private spa, with green porcelain tile, a wide white quartz countertop, a soaking tub, black metal fixtures, and biophilic elements that reinforce well-being.

The leisure and gourmet area completes the project as the great gathering point of the house. The combination of natural stone, wood, and gray quartz creates a rustic and contemporary atmosphere, where the pool table, the living area with a generous sofa, and the barbecue area connect fluidly. The wooden frames allow full opening to the garden, promoting natural ventilation and complete integration between interior and exterior.

In addition to the spatial and aesthetic solutions, the residence incorporated technology and sustainability in an integrated manner, with home automation, photovoltaic panels for energy generation and water heating, security systems, audio, and distributed network, as well as the use of materials with nanotechnology, which ensure greater durability and low maintenance.
