Casa de 305 m² na Bahia é perfeita para receber e curtir a natureza (Tarso Figueiredo/CASACOR)
This single-family residence located in Praia do Forte (BA) was developed by architects Anna Fernandes, Guido Ramos, and Marcelo Bezerril from the GAM Arquitetos office and featured in CASACOR Bahia, with a built area of 305 m².

The project was created for a family composed of a couple and two children who love hosting friends and value coexistence and connection with nature. As the owner works with events and always seeks joy and music, the central request was for a lively, colorful house perfect for parties.

The architecture met this demand with an L-shaped plan implanted on a corner lot, maximizing the opening to the east and integrating the internal and external projects as much as possible. The use of double-height ceilings with movable shutters is a functional highlight, ensuring maximum ventilation (an essential premise in Bahia) and control of solar incidence.

The integrated layout is the key to the project and allows the house to be welcoming for family use or completely integrated for large events.

The choice of materials followed the premise of using natural elements to ensure elegance, durability, and easy maintenance. The office opted for a clean and timeless architecture with visual unity. The floor of the entire house and the bathrooms is covered with polished Bege Bahia marble. The internal walls have received neutral paint, serving as a canvas for the collection of art, sculptures, and the desired touches of color from the residents.

Wood and bamboo have been widely used in the ceilings and headboards, adding coziness. In the kitchen, the countertop is made of Taj Mahal quartzite, and the walls of the bathrooms highlight the use of river stones.

The client's personal touch is present in items such as the billiard table, chosen in the color blue (the family's favorite), which has become the central meeting point. In addition, a canoe salvaged by the owner has been positioned on the wall as a striking piece of presence, visible even from the external projects.
