An apartment that exudes sobriety and elegance, with a touch of personality that makes it unique. This was the result of the project signed by the office Sala2 Arquitetura – from the cast of
CASACOR São Paulo – which, with some targeted interventions, transformed a
space of 260 m² into a home that reflects the residents' style.
The architect
Vanessa Martins explains that the project aimed to optimize the existing layout. "There were changes made to expand the
master bath and an update of the finishes, which changed the same tone of all the vitrified ceramic in the shower of the
suite," she reports.
The focal point of the apartment, however, is the large blue "box" in the living room. Made of wood, the structure serves as a visual and functional connection, linking the front door to the intimate area, kitchen, and powder room. Thanks to perfect fittings, the "box" appears to be seamlessly integrated into the projects, revealing its function in a subtle and sophisticated manner.
The color palette, with gray flooring and walnut on the walls, creates a temperature play that breaks the monotony. This deeper base serves as the backdrop to highlight the design pieces that punctuate the space, such as the iconic furniture by Sérgio Rodrigues:
the Mole armchair and the Tião chair. Another significant change was the adaptation of the
balcony. Instead of the traditional barbecue, which did not fit the owners' profile, the space gained a large stone counter and a bar with a wine cellar, becoming a gathering and relaxation area.
