By the seaside, a 620 m² apartment combines sophistication, art, and design

Entrepreneur and owner of a jewelry store, the resident of this apartment of 620 m² by the seaside in Fortaleza (CE) wanted to imprint her personality on the property she shares with her three children. The challenge was handed over to the Romário Rodrigues Architects – from the CASACOR São Paulo line-up – who transformed the traditional and compartmentalized floor plan into a contemporary, spacious, and fluid space.

In the social area, some walls were removed to entertain friends and host large events, without compromising family intimacy. "The concept translates the essence of the resident: cosmopolitan, sophisticated, and connected to art and design. The style is contemporary, featuring architectural curves, iconic furniture, and pieces of international and national design that reinforce the unique character of the space," affirms Romário.

The view of the sea becomes part of the decoration, standing out in the palette of neutral and light tones. "Her passion for the color green was translated in different ways in the projects, whether in coverings, upholstery, or decorative details, reinforcing her personal identity," says the architect.

Large colorful canvases adorn the walls of the social area, functioning as a focal point amid the sophisticated materials. Highlight includes the quartzite on the television panel; the natural wood on the ceiling; and the widely explored Vivid Green quartzite in the lavabo.

After the renovation, the intimate area, originally with five bedrooms, now features four spacious suites and a large closet in the master suite.
