The initial request from the young couple to the firm
Felipe Carolo Arquitetura – from the
CASACOR SP team – was for a project full of trends, from colors to materials, from flooring to furniture. "In the office, we always aim to guide on the consequences of these choices in all aspects, especially in terms of durability and identity of the project. Fashion is not always the best path, no matter how much the client wants it. And this timelessness escapes a marked time and makes the project more personalized," says the professional.

The final result of the
370 m² apartment, after suggested, accepted, and approved changes, was a home with a house feel. "Instead of the beige seen in magazines, the
white on the walls brought spaciousness and a neutral projects for the home to be put together with the residents' personality over time," he says.

Wood and natural materials share attention with a lot of
metal, a bit of
glass, and transparency. Since they love living areas, the
balcony was enclosed, and in its place, a bar was created that connects the indoor and outdoor areas and ends in a delicious
garden.

"Integrating spaces, by the way, was something we addressed in harmony with what the couple expected. The clients had a
feng shui consultation with a radiesthesist before the project. I opted for linearity throughout the apartment. And within that, I placed sliding doors that can be completely retracted. In other words, you can walk through the entire apartment without the opening and closing of doors, in a very good feeling of circulation and flow," he says.

The wall that separated the first
suite from the
living room was torn down and gave way to a large glass shelf with filled and empty spaces that separates the living area from the office. It is possible to see the workspace, but there is some privacy. Next to the table, a sofa bed accommodates quick visits in addition to occupying the guest room.

In the living room, a main L-shaped sofa with a backrest that turns into a bench takes over the space harmoniously. It is ideal for hosting friends. The living room was separated from the dining room by a functional piece of furniture that also serves for storage.

Even space for a future child was contemplated. "Today, all spaces are open and integrated. However, we left the lunchroom with a huge sliding door, 3.5m, almost a wall that hides and integrates the barbecue area while also separating the lunch area from the social projects of the house. This way, parents can entertain friends while the child plays or sleeps in the room next door. In addition, one of the suites can be adapted for the baby's room," he concludes.
