The renovation involved structural interventions to enhance the integration between living, balcony, and dining, as well as the updating of finishes and cabinetry to resonate with the contemporary lifestyle of the family.

Advertising professional, the resident brought a sensitive and collector's perspective: his desire was for the decor to translate personal achievements, travel memories, and family essence. The result is contemporary with classic touches and carries a strong sentimental charge through artworks, rugs, and furniture.

“The biggest challenge was balancing the strong presence of personal objects and inherited or collected pieces with the need to create a neutral and sophisticated architectural base. The solution was to work with a sober palette, elegant cabinetry, and well-placed lighting, to enhance each detail without overloading the projects,” says Romário.

The sentimental elements were integrated naturally, functioning as true memory points within the house. “In the gourmet area, we positioned the plates from each Brazilian state they visited, characterizing the relaxed space,” the architect highlights. The project can be integrated into the living room when necessary through sliding doors.

The intimate area includes two suites for the children and the master suite, where shades of gray and black predominate. The leather and linen headboard contrasts with the slatted half-wall behind the bed, adding texture and coziness. The pop of color comes from the oriental rug positioned next to the bed.
