A project that seems to float under the sky of São Paulo. This is the
apartment of
266 m² developed by the team at
NJ+, an office led by
Nildo José and the cast of
CASACOR São Paulo, for a family with six children who live abroad but wanted a home where they could stay worry-free during their visits to Brazil.

The clients requested a
minimalist space, with a clean aesthetic, without excesses, and that reflected their calm yet sophisticated lifestyle. In the new layout, the
balcony with double-height was incorporated into the living room, resulting in a wide and elegant projects.

With an integrated
kitchen and living room, the total highlight of the project was the
helical staircase in the living room, which, although it conveys a seemingly simple look as it is entirely concrete, becomes the central element of the project, bringing "weight" and a very striking identity to the entire projects.

The glass windows allow the blue of the sky to enter the living room and become part of the composition. The furniture also showcases sophistication, with pieces like the High Armchair by
Oscar Niemeyer, the almost 100-year-old Persian rug
Kirman, and the
Santoro sofa. In the kitchen, the Gávea stools by
Jorge Zalszupin harmonize with the natural freijó veneer cabinetry.

The three
bedrooms follow the same minimalist proposal as the rest of the rooms, with sophisticated objects and furniture: one bedroom with two bunk beds for the older children, another for the two younger ones to share, and a suite for the couple.

In the finishes, the minimalist style appears in the burnt cement, in the Navona Travertino marble, in the freijó wood veneer with silk cane, in the Pearl marble present in all the bathrooms of the house, and in the tauari wood flooring.
