Located in the Perdizes neighborhood of São Paulo, this apartment of 29 m² underwent a strategic renovation by the firm Rodra Arquitetura, part of the CASACOR São Paulo lineup. The central challenge of the project was to transform the limited square footage into a functional and comfortable retreat for a couple living in Rio de Janeiro, who sought a practical home base for their frequent trips to São Paulo, mirroring the warmth of their main residence.

The intervention focused on maximizing the use of space through smart, multifunctional cabinetry. In the main 11 m² area, the dining zone was integrated into the custom built-ins, which allowed for the inclusion of a sofa next to the bed, creating a second spot for rest and leisure in addition to the bedroom.

To meet the owner's wish for a living room and a closet in such a compact space, every centimeter was used from the entryway onward, where the main wardrobe is positioned.

Visual unity is one of the design's strengths: the bathroom (2,59 m²) uses the same countertop and finishes as the kitchen, ensuring aesthetic continuity when the door is opened.

Since the property was new, no structural changes were necessary to the electrical or plumbing, allowing the investment to be focused on customizing the layout. The result is a studio that fluidly integrates the living room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony (2,85 m²), proving that creativity can broaden the possibilities of living well in small spaces.
