An apartment of 103 m² in the Jardins neighborhood of São Paulo underwent a
complete renovation that modernized its entire structure. The challenge was entrusted to architect
Daniela Funari, who brought the apartment, over 30 years old, into the present while carefully
maintaining the essence of the property.

One of the main points highlighted in the
briefing was the
prioritization of social interaction in the social area. Thus, the architect chose to integrate the projects by eliminating the walls that previously divided the living room, dining room, and kitchen. "With these openings, we added the spaciousness and flow that did not exist in the architecture of the time when the apartment was built," explains the professional.

The furniture curation followed the functional and multi-use proposal of the renovation, gathering loose and cozy pieces. In the living area, special attention was given to the two
passions of the residents: music and literature. Thus, to sectorize the room into two areas, the island sofa was positioned in the center of the living areas and the relaxation area.

On the other side, a large shelf follows the light brown characteristic of Freijó wood and prominently occupies the music area, accommodating various items, such as the resident's keyboard in a retractable section.

The rustic granite was chosen by Daniela to cover the wall where the
buffet is located, marking an elegant contrast in the dining room space. On the other side, the fusion of a glass-door cabinet and wine cellar reflects the wine collection, glasses, and other accessories for these moments.
