When the young couple sought out the office of
Mandril Arquitetura – part of the cast of
CASACOR SP – to create their new home, the idea was to transform the
apartment of
180 m² into the family's first property, as the residents were engaged and had a wedding planned. The project also needed to accommodate future children (and their little dog!).

"The apartment is on the
ground floor and in garden style. Its distinguishing feature is that there are three areas of
garden around it: one faces the front of the property, connected to the living and dining areas. The other two provide access to the bedrooms," the office explains.

The living area stands out for several reasons: the
moledo stone wall, the exposed concrete slab, hidden cabinets in the woodworking, and the integration with the
kitchen and the green area of the terrace. "From the beginning, we tested several layout options with the client, and once we defined the position of the wine cellar in front of the entrance hall, this became the starting point for the entire social area," explain the professionals.

The
walk-in wine cellar integrates with the entire project through the woodworking and finishes, but it also divides the kitchen space, which gained an island with built-in table and illuminated shelves.

The
moledo stone is repeated on the wall of the powder room, which also features a sink with deck – a model designed by Mandril Arquitetura.

In the private area, the three bedrooms were divided into a master bedroom, guest room, and home office. The
balconies received landscaping with grass, lounge chairs, and tall plants to create privacy.

"Neutral and light colors, in contrast with natural materials like wood and stone, create coziness in the projects," concludes the office.
