One of Rio de Janeiro's landmarks, the Marina Palace Hotel, is hosting the closing party for the Marina Art Wall project. The venue chosen to celebrate the enormous colorful panel will be the Bar da Praia (located in the hotel itself) and will feature the ever-inspired presence of Toz, the participation of DJ Levy Gasparian and the musical identity created by Rádio Ibiza. Chosen by open voting on the internet, the theme of the installation “Joy, Joy! I bring the beloved city in three days” was the most voted by the city's residents. The artist's charismatic characters took over one of the sides of the hotel, which is 75 meters high and ten meters wide – the equivalent of 26 floors of the building. “My main challenge was the difficulty of setting it back. I had no way of knowing how the painting would turn out. But I'm very pleased with the result, especially with the colors, which matched very well with the blue of the sky and the sea. I'm happy because it seems that Rio has embraced my art and I was able to contribute to making the city even happier,” Toz summarized. The painting began on September 14th and anyone who passed by the beach during that period was able to watch the live painting, which is impressive due to its grandeur and boldness. Some of Toz's characters will be for sale during the event and 20% of the profits will be donated to the Children's Institute, which promotes Social Entrepreneurship. The project was created by UP Line and the Ampro Globes Awards 2015 and was supported by Mills, Galeria Movimento, do Bem, Radio Ibiza and Jeffrey.
