New piece of public art by Tokujin Yoshioka , 'STAR' is an immense sculpture that reaches 10 meters in height installed at the entrance to Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, a skyscraper that is planned to open in March 2023 near Tokyo Station.

Made of mirrored stainless steel rods , the sculpture has a design that converges, as if crystallizing, to create a "sculpture of light".
The more than 2,000 octagonal mirrored stainless steel rods randomly reflect sunlight and blend in with the surrounding environment. At sunset, the work takes on a beautiful amber color and even reflects the light of the night sky, creating a sculpture whose radiance changes in many ways.
