Titled “
Siamo Foresta ”, the new
Fondation Cartier exhibition, which opened at the end of June, was conceived especially for the
Triennale Milano and portrays the
concept of the forest as a meeting place for cultures . Open until October 29, the exhibition is curated by Bruce Albert and Hervé Chandés and features works by
27 artists from different countries – 15 of whom are Brazilian .

In an
unprecedented dialogue between thinkers and defenders of the forest – from indigenous artists to non-indigenous artists from Brazil, China, Colombia and France –, the exhibition is inspired by an aesthetic (and political) vision of the forest as a kind of
egalitarian multiverse of living beings , thus offering a vibrant allegory of a possible world beyond ours, at the center of which we have always placed man alone.
The project connects the artists with each other through their ideals and also through the scenographic solutions of the Brazilian
Luiz Zerbini , who transformed the exhibition space into a
lush forest , encompassing all the works and allowing the forest, with its elements and vital rhythm, to enter the rooms of the Triennale Milano.
