Enjoying good food in an environment that offers an
artistic atmosphere is a perfect duo. For many people, gastronomy is also art and when these two come together, the experience is quite rewarding. Below, we have gathered
7 bars and restaurants in the city of São Paulo that somehow feature art as a central point - whether in the decor, attached to museums or even with works of art inside. Check it out!
Bosco Restaurant
With a modernist charm and lively decor,
Bosco (
@bosco.restaurante ) is a great place to visit in Pinheiros. In addition to the mouth-watering
Italian cuisine , the restaurant holds a precious gem: drawings and sketches on the wall of the establishment made by none other than
Oscar Niemeyer in the early 90s (among them is the one at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Niterói, designed in 1996).
High Line Bar
For those who enjoy a more urban space with street art, the
High Line Bar is a great alternative. The space is located in Vila Madalena and has a 6-meter-high
graffiti in homage to the group The Beatles, created by
Eduardo Kobra .

Betsy World
Newly opened, the
Betsy bar (
@mundodebetsy ) is a cool space in Itaim Bibi with a decor inspired by
pop-art . The place offers a full menu from breakfast to dinner – and unusual drinks that could not be left out of the menu. The decoration (and the menu itself) makes several references to the "
American way of life " – which is also a very striking feature of pop art.
Pipo SP

Imagine visiting the MIS (Museum of Image and Sound) and then enjoying some casual cuisine from chef
Felipe Bronze ? This is possible when you enter the doors of Pipo (
@pipo_sp ), a restaurant attached to the museum, located in the Jardins neighborhood. The seafood experience is complete, with options ranging from grilled tuna to oysters. MIS is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 6pm. (

Vault Bar
"A secret kept under lock and key", that's what
Bar do Cofre is called, a
speakeasy built in the basement of Farol Santander, inside a large vault that has been completely refurbished. When you arrive at the place, you will be surprised by two large circular doors weighing
16 tons each , which house the bar.
Farol Santander is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 8pm, while the bar is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 4pm to midnight on Wednesday and Thursday, until 1am on Friday and Saturday and from 2pm to 8pm on Sundays. (
