Espaço Priceless , a gastronomic complex located on the terrace of the Shopping Light building, in the historic center of São Paulo , invited the indigenous visual artist from the Tukano people, Duhigó , to produce a work on the ceiling of the Notiê restaurant.

Duhigó, represented by Manaus Amazônia Galeria de Arte, is the first indigenous visual artist from Amazonas to be part of the MASP collection. The composition, creation and art direction of the panel, as well as the selection of the works, are by set designer Patricia Sobral.

Patrícia Sobral , set designer and art director, founder of the Rio de Janeiro creative studio Paluana and responsible for developing the entire Espaço Priceless project, worked together with Duhigó to choose the works that best represented the Amazon and its people.

“The new ceiling was designed based on studies carried out in the region , on Duhigó’s work and experience. It couldn’t be any other artist, Duhigó has an enormous talent,” says Sobral.
