To celebrate its 11th edition,
ArtRio 2021 announces the date of this year's fair:
between September 8th and 12th . Following the model held last year, the event will have an in-person edition, at Marina da Glória, and also a virtual format within the platform

The edition already has 56 confirmed galleries. "In 2020, we managed to hold an event that was completely appropriate and safe for the times we were living in. We achieved sales figures that were 20% higher than in 2019. Now in 2021, with the good results achieved by the vaccination plan in the city of Rio de Janeiro, and also from across the country, we are even more confident", reinforces Brenda Valansi, president of ArtRio.
The galleries participating in the event in 2021 were selected by the Curatorial Committee, formed by gallery owners

extensive agenda of debates and guided tours online , with the participation of big names such as Ai Wei Wei, Beatriz Milhazes and Ella Cisneros", adds Brenda Valansi.

. Tickets are limited and are already on sale. ArtRio 's online platform will broadcast the entire schedule of lectures, conversations between artists and curators, and guided tours of collections and studios. It will also be possible to take a
virtual tour of the booths of participating galleries, see the selection of works and speak directly with the gallery owners. .
