An absolute success in decoration,
handcrafted pieces have been gaining more and more space. Literally! This is what becomes clear when visiting the
33rd edition of CASACOR Rio . The exhibition features, in several environments,
large-scale panels made by hand .
At the Wine Bar, for example, architects Pedro Coimbra and Jackson Tinoco covered the entire external façade of the space with a
huge 20-meter-long crochet panel . They also used a slightly smaller version, measuring
17 meters , inside.
The pieces were designed by the duo, who were inspired by the work of
Burle Marx to create the designs and opted for vibrant tones. The execution was done by the
Proeza Institute , in Brasília. No less than
30 women worked for two weeks to finish the pieces .

In Casa Essência, designed by
PKB Arquitetura , the panel that draws attention is made of
wood . The pieces in peroba do campo
intertwine as if they were holding hands , and were hand-assembled, one by one, creating a focal point in the space.
CASACOR Rio 2024 will be held for the first time at the Fashion Mall in São Conrado, which has had part of its area transformed into a condominium with
48 spaces decorated by some of the most renowned professionals in architecture, interior design and landscaping. The exhibition can be visited until November 24, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12 pm to 9 pm. Tickets are available at the box office and on the website
