Starting October 19, the Fiesp Cultural Center (CCF), located on Avenida Paulista, will host the exhibition " Constructed Landscape: São Paulo and Burle Marx ", curated by Guilherme Wisnik , Helena Severo and Isabela Ono . Divided into three main axes, the exhibition features the collection of the Burle Marx Institute and emphasizes the urban ecology projects conceived by Roberto Burle Marx (1909-1994) and his collaborators; as well as proposing a dialogue between his projects and those of architects renowned architects, such as Rino Levi and Paulo Mendes da Rocha ; in addition to bringing new, unexecuted proposals for public spaces in the city, such as Trianon Park, Ibirapuera Park, Vale do Anhangabaú and Praça da Sé. The exhibition highlights environmental activism and pioneering work in defending the preservation of South American biomes with the aim of projects on green cities . At the exhibition, the public has the opportunity to see the most iconic projects by landscaper Burle Marx and an “Ephemeral Garden” with vertical structures at the entrance to the building on Avenida Paulista, developed by the office, in addition to the exhibition of an animation on the building’s façade. from FIESP.
