The ceramic art of
Lenzi Junior welcomes the public to the 31st edition of
CASACOR Paraná, which runs until July 27 in one of the most iconic neighborhoods of Curitiba, Batel. Right at the entrance of the emblematic mansion, visitors are impacted by the
visual poetry of the renowned muralist. The facade features a
30 m² panel exclusively designed for the exhibition, a work that naturally integrates into the landscape. The artist’s intense pictorial gesture, with strong outlines, vibrant colors, and striking volumes, pays homage to modernism – a great influence in his paintings, especially through his collaboration with Poty Lazzarotto.
Lenzi Junior's ceramic art features
geometric elements that represent the nature of Southern Brazil, a constant presence in his creations, organically composing with a century-old araucaria planted on the property – a landscape that has become one of the Instagrammable spots of the event. The ceramic painting symbolizes the
Paranaense culture – with pine nuts, araucarias, and blue jays – also dialogues with the creative proposal “
Semear Sonhos”, the national theme of CASACOR 2025, based on three pillars:
collective dreams, ecosystems in cooperation, and confluence of knowledge.
About the Artist
With over four decades of experience, Lenzi Junior grew up among paints, brushes, and kilns. The son of Adoaldo Lenzi — a partner of Poty Lazzarotto — he had the opportunity to work early on with names like Poty and Alberto Massuda. The experience in the studio of these three great artists and other art enthusiasts taught him
not only the techniques but also the sensitivity of the craft. His education extends through courses and specializations in drawing, cultural management, plastic arts, architecture and sacred art, landscaping and urban design, and curation.
His production is marked by
manual work in artistic ceramics, ranging from small tiles to large panels, as well as decorative paintings. Even though his creations have their own identity and unmistakable aesthetic, they are
timeless works that preserve the strength of their narrative over the years. Lenzi Junior also works customarily, developing works for exclusive projects. His works can be found in
public and private collections in Brazil, Paraguay, and the United States. Currently, among the highlights, the artist is dedicated to creating an exclusive panel for Boca Raton (Florida) and preparing for a solo exhibition in a gallery in Miami.
