Entering
Rosewood São Paulo is an opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle — Avenida Paulista is right next door! — and appreciate spaces carefully thought out in detail. In addition to the
architecture and extravagant
landscaping of the complex, the
artworks also catch the eye, even though they are very well integrated into the projects.
Under the curation of Marc Pottier, the hotel houses a wide range of artistic expressions — such as sculpture, painting, tiles, drawings, fabrics, and carpets — ranging from street art to indigenous art. Regina Silveira, Laura Vinci, Hugo França, and Santa Cinto are some of the artists featured there. The authors created their works especially for the enterprise and were given freedom to create with only one guideline: creativity, plus a request for respect for the past and a desire to point towards the future. This creative stimulus resulted in a large hub of contemporary art, celebrating the natural beauty, history, and diverse culture of Brazil. Constantly expanding, the collection of Rosewood São Paulo has more than 450 works of art. Most of the works are Site Specific, designed according to the determined project and space. The hotel offers a guided tour of the artworks for guests and the general public, by prior appointment. Esculturas Nós, criadas pela artista Nádia Taquary para o lobby do Fera Palace Hotel, em Salvador (divulgação/CASACOR)
In the Historic Center of
Salvador, on Rua Chile — the first street in Brazil — the original Palace Hotel was built in 1934 as the first luxury hotel in Salvador and the Northeast. It was an imposing eight-story building, built on a triangular corner, inspired by the architecture of the Flatiron Building in New York. In 2017, the hotel was reborn as
Fera Palace and, in addition to preserving the architectural history of the place, it was important to ensure that the interiors blended the
Art Deco style with the art of Bahia. Right at the reception, the guest is confronted with a
black and white mosaic floor, imposing chandeliers, and sculptures by Bahian artist
Nádia Taquary. Made from a mixture of wood, shells, straw, beads, coconut tiles, gold, silver, beads, and figas, the pieces exalt afro-Bahian religiosity. The work
Nós, exhibited in the lobby, refers to a memory the artist has of her mother when they stayed at the then Palace years ago. Other elements that allude to local culture are dozens of
photos depicting the life and customs of Bahian people taken by photographer
Akira Cravo — the images can be seen in the restaurant, hallways, and apartments.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the world's luxury cruise company, revealed details of its art collection showcased aboard the new
ship Seven Seas Grandeur. The collection of 1600 pieces, predominantly featuring
contemporary art, took almost two years to be formed with artists and galleries from all over the world, including sculptures, original paintings, and photographs. Highlighting an impressive
handwoven tapestry of nearly 12 meters high, called
The Enchanted Tree, created by Brazilian artist Walter Goldfarb. Another exclusive piece in the collection is a sculpture of a cherry Bonsai in bronze and blown glass custom-made by Savoy Studios, creating a sensory entrance to the Pacific Rim, the pan-Asian specialty restaurant on the ship. Other highlights include a lithograph and lithography by Pablo Picasso. To facilitate access to the artworks on board, the company created a digital art tour called
Art Experience, available through an app. The tour provides an immersive and interactive experience for visitors to connect, not only with the artwork but also with the artist who created the piece.

The
Brown's Hotel, of the Rocco Forte group, has partnered with the
Pinacoteca di Brera, a museum in
Milan and one of the most important in Italy, to offer an exclusive experience for guests. This initiative brought a rare masterpiece,
The Marriage of the Virgin, by Raphael, to the heart of London through a digital experience, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of
Renaissance art. Until April 2025, a limited edition digital reproduction of the work, certified by the Pinacoteca di Brera, will be exhibited in one of the main suites of the hotel. Presented in a
meticulously crafted reproduction, this piece is an exact digital replica in real scale of Raphael's original work. And, to make this action possible, the Pinacoteca di Brera granted permission and reproduction rights. Guests staying in the suite will have the privilege of living alongside this masterpiece, displayed in a scale of 1:1 on a high-resolution screen.

Located on the discreet Via del Vantaggio, in Rome, art and design create an elegant project within a 19th-century building. The
The First Roma Arte is a
boutique hotel that proposes an artistic experience from the first moment one walks through the door. In partnership with the
Galleria Muciaccia di Roma, the common areas have been decorated with more than 200 works that bring the atmosphere of an
art gallery. The collection consists entirely of
Italian artists and varies between extravagant sculptures and paintings. The theme of art continues throughout the hotel, and each suite is dedicated to an artist. An interesting detail is that each artwork in the hotel is also for sale to guests who are interested. In addition to the internal experience, the hotel offers a range of exclusive services available, including guided tours by an art consultant.
