CASACOR Origami Gallery renews its collection and opens a charity auction

In the group exhibition, names such as Iberê Camargo, Amilcar de Castro, Tomie Ohtake, Glauco Rodrigues and Rubem Valentim join new artists from the collection, such as Maria Tomaselli, Roseli Jahn, Tiago Tebet, Daniel Steegmann Mangrané, Alexandre Cunha, Luiz Carlos Barreto, Renata de Bonis, Francisco Ding Musa and Gais Ama, promoting a contemporary panorama of visual artists from the 80s generation. Curator Cézar Prestes selected works in the techniques of painting, collage, mixed media, photography and sculpture by artists from the Southeast and South regions. Another highlight is the special room dedicated to Hugo França, with unique wooden pieces. "These are works of art and also of design art that pay homage to this important sculptor. In this way, the three-dimensional creation completes the contemporary panorama proposed for this second phase of the gallery", highlights the curator.

Charity Auction

The works on display – from private collections donated to the Amigo_h institution – are ready to receive bids from the public. There are 10 works by the artists: Eliane Prolik, Felipe Cohen, Iberê Camargo, Marcus Vinícius, Marina Serri, Nazareno, Niobe Xandô, Renata Padovan, Roberto Bethônico and Rodrigo Almeida. Interested parties must fill out a form with their personal details and a bid (starting from a minimum value) that will be deposited in a ballot box located near the lots of artworks.
