Anyone who is in São Paulo in the next few days will be able to see, on the
corner of Boa Vista and João Brícola streets , in the center of the city,
the beauty of Tuca Reinés' photographs – now in an enlarged size . A huge
92 m² LED panel displays, until July 4th,
more than 60 images taken by the photographer in various tourist spots and famous scenes in Brazil. These were transformed into videos to be integrated into the facade of the building that houses the Central Agency from Santander.
The electronic panel,
one of the 10 largest billboards in Brazil , is made up of 100 LED modules capable of reproducing
more than 200 million colors . In total, 65 images of Reinés are being displayed every day, from 7 am to 11 pm. “
There is no ideal space for art , it can exist anywhere.” says Patricia Audi, executive vice president of Communication, Marketing, Institutional Relations and Sustainability at Santander Brazil.
At the end of each video, a
QR Code will direct the pedestrian to the website
homenagembrasiltucareines.com.br , where it is possible to find more information about 15 of the images displayed, as well as a little of the photographer's history. The photographs can be viewed until Sunday, July 4. Afterwards, the panel will show the festival “
Videos Art — I Love My Favela ”, curated by the artist Baixo Ribeiro, which will feature works by
15 artists from communities in São Paulo . Source: CNN Brazil, Folha de S. Paulo
