In the year that
CASACOR São Paulo changes its address and
resumes its traditional itinerant model , nothing is more appropriate than a
symbolic artistic intervention to mark the transition. This is how CASACOR collaborated with Casa Darwin, the agency leading the campaign launch, and
Felipe Morozini , artist who created the intervention on the
rooftop of Parque Mirante, the annex of Arena Allianz Parque that will be the
next headquarters of the São Paulo exhibition . Known for his work and activism in
transforming the Minhocão area in São Paulo, Morozini was invited to recreate his work "I Will Be Another Place" in an area of over 3,000 square meters.
Morozini, who is consolidating his first participation in CASACOR with this intervention, says that the idea came from the realization that
we are all in a process of resignification , everyone being other places every day, including internal and external places. “The installation occupies the area where the CASACOR structure will be built, transforming and redefining the space itself. And
poeticizing this moment we are living in”, explains the artist.
The phrase that makes up the artwork will become a reality very soon, when the empty roof begins to be occupied by the event. This transformation of the art into a new space will also be highlighted in the campaign after its completion.
The opening of
CASACOR São Paulo is scheduled for the second half of the year,
between September and November 2021. The site is already being fully prepared to comply with health protocols and guarantee the physical integrity of everyone during this pandemic period, whether during the construction, the assembly, visitation and disassembly of the event. The choice of the new scenario takes into account, in addition to the structure and security, the easy access through the various roads that serve the region, which is central and has several options in transport services. Another essential point is the fact that this urban fabric has attracted new businesses and residential projects, becoming one of the most relevant in the city.
