The Pinacoteca de São Paulo has expanded and gained a new building: the
Pina Contemporânea , which features a project designed by
Arquitetos Associados . With a total area of 22,041 m², this new building consecrates the Brazilian art museum as the
second largest in Latin America. Starting
March 4th , the public will be able to explore this new space – free of charge for the entire month – with two exhibitions:
new works from the collection and
Haegue Yang .
6 years of Japan House - Japanese Pavilion, Ibirapuera Park

March 2nd to
April 23rd , Japan House São Paulo presents the exhibition “
Retrospective: 6 years of Japan House São Paulo ” at the Japanese Pavilion, located inside Ibirapuera Park.
The initiative is the result of a partnership with the
Brazilian Society of Japanese Culture and
Social Assistance – Bunkyo, which manages the Japanese Pavilion.
“ESSENCE: Inner Garden” by Atsunobu Katagir - Japan House
Artist and Ikebana master
Atsunobu Katagiri has created a unique
botanical installation to occupy the ground floor of Japan House São Paulo from
March 7 to
April 30. Entitled “ESSENCE: Inner Garden - Atsunobu Katagiri”, the
free exhibition is an invitation to a moment of contemplation on the bustling Avenida Paulista, giving visitors the opportunity to reflect on presence.
Imagine Picasso - Morumbi Shopping Mall

Imagine Picasso is a unique
immersive exhibition that arrives in Brazil on a special date: the year 2023 marks the
50th anniversary of the death of the Spanish artist. The exhibition will be on display in São Paulo, from
March 9 to
June 18, at
MorumbiShopping , after having passed through Lyon (France), Quebec and Vancouver (Canada), Atlanta and San Francisco (USA) and Madrid (Spain), with public success.
Dialogues with color and light - MAM
The São Paulo Museum of Modern Art will premiere the exhibition
Dialogues with Color and Light on March 2nd, in the Sala Paulo Figueiredo. Curated by
Cauê Alves and
Fábio Magalhães , the exhibition presents a selection of abstract art from the MAM collection, focusing on the relationships between color and light in Brazilian painting from the second half of the 20th century.
