Estúdio Hum received a painting on the ceiling by artist Clode Imperial, with shapes that refer to florals and natural life. In shades of guava and green, the space by Paula Neder and Coletivo PN+ for Leroy Merlin was designed for a French chef, who takes inspiration from Rio for new recipes.

High-low guides the mix of sophisticated pieces with affordable items. The lighting is simple, as are the coverings, easy to maintain and offer creative solutions.

Architect Jean de Just invited artist Naiara Bandoli to decorate the ceiling of the Além da Cozinha space. The space, which combines the dining room, kitchen and laundry area, gained more life through the composition of warm colors, such as mustard on the walls and oak veneers. Green and navy blue are in the details.

The metallic mesh is Kilze Guimarães' choice for his Café do Porto, the space was divided into small environments with different configurations. In addition to what can be seen, the project brings functional solutions such as USB cables for customers and the correct management of waste generated in the kitchen.

The 250 m² space uses the same type of trusses as partitions and ceiling pendants, helping to lower its Pier Hall. Architect Paola Ribeiro involved crystal chandeliers in metal screens, in a geometric decoration, which plays with shapes and symmetry.

Estúdio Elã integrates a bedroom, living room and kitchen under the same straw and wooden roof. Unpretentious, the Toca Arquitetura space uses reddish terracotta to add affect and reinforce the connection with nature.

Old film rolls inspire the hollow panels that give the charm of Cine Louge, by the trio Emerson Araújo, Lorena Lohrisch and Ana Cano. The classic cinemas of Rio Antigo are remembered and revived, with period elements that are reinvigorated, such as leather, wood, carpet and tufts on the bar counter. The lounges were separated into three levels, which also remind us of the way old movie theaters in Rio were occupied.

The ceiling of the Fragrance Space features an original and unexpected movement with pendants embedded in wooden panels. The wooden panels in Lia Lamengo's space dilute the lighting from the lamps and reduce the height of the ceiling, creating a cozy atmosphere.

How to give personality and renew an environment at the same time? CASACOR Rio de Janeiro has a creative response: paintings, weaves and textures of different materials were applied to the ceiling, giving value to the neglected fifth wall.
On the other hand, metallic meshes also draw attention to the ceiling in the projects by Kilze Guimarães and Paola Ribeiro. The idea is to innovate, no matter what, providing the visitor with a unique experience.
