The refined curation of artworks at CASACOR Paraná 2023 enhances the setting of the 29th edition of the exhibition and transforms the visit into a cultural tour. This year, the event was attended by artistic producer, architect and art curator Consuelo Cornelsen who selected two works for the exhibition: the murals “Borbulho”, by Rômulo Lass , and the sculpture “Tramas”, by the artist from Minas Gerais, José Antônio de Lima .

Lass’s work greets visitors on the entrance promenade. With graphic circles in the golden ratio in shades of red, the murals resemble a “ tunnel of blood vessels ” and were made using sheets of mushroom mycelium.

The sculpture Tramas stands out on the ceiling of the pool area of the AQUA building , where the exhibition is taking place. The work, made of fabric and wire, refers to caterpillars and the transformations they go through before becoming butterflies.

Plurality of styles

The Collector's Living Room , designed by Estúdio Pantarolli Miranda , features ornaments, chandeliers and furniture from the Coisas de Família store in an environment that mixes classic and modern with a predominance of blue tones , alluding to the water in the human body, the oceans and the planet.

Exclusive paintings by Poty Lazzaroto and Adoaldo Lenzi , as well as antiques, can be purchased by visitors. The space also features sculptures from the Fé collection, designed by Furf Design , made from mycelium.

The cover of this year's Yearbook, the DECA Manifesto , by Gustavo Scaramella , presents a spa that is different from the conventional, where burnt red predominates, the lighting reproduces the effect of “candlelight” and the artworks in a playful and questioning tone are present.

The plurality of references appears on a basis of straight and pure lines , with works signed by important names, such as Abidiel Vicente, Celso Orsini, Fernanda Valadares, Eduardo Custódio, Marcelo Conrado and Maria Rita Reichmann.

THE A mix of classic objects and modern furniture is the hallmark of the Business Lounge , by Ary Jacobs and Renan Mutao, from Studio Architetonika Nomad , and designer Flavia Glanert . The palette in shades of bronze, caramel and orange forms the backdrop for the gallery corridor at the entrance to the space and for works of art such as the painting by Andre Mendas .

Exclusive pieces

The large outdoor lounge The Landscape , designed by July Franchesca Dallagrana , brings yet another work by Rômulo Lass to CASACOR Paraná. This time, the artist has created a work with the material for which his work is known, displaying a mural of orange-toned tiles , inspired by the curves of Oscar Niemeyer, in the large garden of colors and textures dedicated to contemplation and well-being.

THE Cosmopolitan Loft, by Marcelo Lopes , is a contemporary environment with light colors that was designed as the home of someone who has a great cultural background and translates this range of references into their home.

The installation “Sementes ao Vento”, by Marilene Ropelato , is one of the highlights of the space and was produced and assembled on site by the artist. The piece plays with the play of light and shadow and is composed by several sculptures that, together, create a textured visual effect.

Already in Artist's Loft , designed by Adriana Marcassa Cotrin , André Baía himself, an exponent of the new generation of visual artists, will be one of the highlights of the visit, painting a large panel live during the exhibition.

The immersive and disruptive environment is inspired by Baía's works and features diverse colors, shapes and textures, as well as the artist's personality-filled canvases , which stray from a linear narrative.
