CASACOR Minas Gerais, in partnership with Casa Fiat de Cultura, is carrying out a very special initiative for young artists this year: an artistic residency program in the digital area. For three weeks (between May 14th and May 3rd), the program will be held in the city of Minas Gerais. 06), eight professionals selected via public notice study creative processes in an intense and immersive way, in an environment designed by architects Paulo Augusto Campos and Sarah Floresta.
Given the theme “The museum as a virtual/material border interface”, whose objective is to explore the digitalization of the contemporary world, taking into account its impact on the arts, it was essential that the place where the residency would take place reflected the integration and connections made possible by networks. Therefore, Paulo and Sarah mixed characteristics of an office, a creative studio and a home, making it multifunctional and welcoming, perfect for stimulating the creative flow of the participants.
