After the successful partnership at Janelas CASACOR in 2020, businesswoman Moema Leão and architects Eliane Martins and Sheila Podestá , franchisees of CASACOR Brasília, invited Eduardo and Lilian Sainz, from SAINZ Arquitetura , to sign the artistic project for this 29th edition. It was up to double the design of the 310 m² art installation. “They did the installation at the time of Janelas and we really liked it. It was very original. This year we decided to invite them to do the façade. We wanted people to be surprised and they came up with a a very original idea, connected with current events, which we accepted immediately”, recalls Moema Leão.

“The theme arises from the meeting of several concepts. One of them is reconstruction. The other is reform. The third is that we are all together in the same story ,” reveals Eduardo Sainz. The word reconstruction is the main focus of the project, which pays tribute to those who really played a leading role in the health crisis , so that we can look to the future that is beginning to be glimpsed with the advance of vaccination around the world. “Our intention is to show that we are undergoing reform [in society]. This space is just to say thank you very much to these people”, adds the architect.
