The space is listed and is part of the Protected Urban Complex of Praça da Liberdade . It was built in 1952 as the residence of the doctor Milton Machado Mourão and the artist Gilda Antonina Maria Falci Mourão. The hall with a vaulted ceiling is the main space and houses the gallery of the new store. The space was integrated into an internal garden through several glass frames that favor the fluidity of the spaces and natural ventilation.

"There was a renovation project in the 1970s by Álvaro Hardy (Veveco) with specific interventions and the façade being closed off with a wall, which prevented the house from being seen from the street," says the architect. The restoration and ambiance project also renovated the wall and included a transparent fence in line with the building's construction typology.
