Created with foam, paper, acrylic paint, plaster and fabric, and measuring approximately 90cm x 90cm, two works “ Cabeças ” (2023), which metaphorically represent two members of the same family, without definition of gender or age group, will be in the exhibition . Their parades had no music, and the Céu da Terra block will be an unprecedented event . The set of flags that participated in the opening parade will also be on display.

The Belgian artist of Turkish origin Shen Özdemir (1996) created a carnival universe based on the legends of giants in Belgium and puppets in Turkey. In the series of works " Karnavalo ", her intention is to create an international human community through cultural syncretism. Their “heads” remind us, among other characters from popular festivals, of the traditional Olinda Dolls .

"Dialects of the Firmament" brings together works by artists Bonikta , Ivan Grilo , Jeane Terra , Rochelle Costi , Shen Özdemir , Thiago Costa , and Zé Tepedino that address different worldviews, invented worlds, enchantment and the mysteries that transit between heaven and earth. . The exhibition inaugurates the gallery's 2023 program and invites the public to imagine new possibilities for caring for an ancestral future, in connection with the field of art and spirituality, building paths and dialogues between divine and profane manifestations. The project of a Brazil invented is revised by the powers of the intangible, the primary expressions and subjectivities of memory, crossing the visible/invisible time and space of the modern world organized by rationality.
