In 2021, we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 1st São Paulo Biennial, held in 1951. To mark the occasion and remember this history, the
Bienal Foundation produced a series of special projects, including the podcast
Bienal, 70 anos , which premiered this Saturday (03).

Thomaz Lessa Garcia , executive superintendent of the São Paulo Bienal Foundation. In addition to the podcast, other content has been prepared to celebrate the event's 70th anniversary. A publication and a short
documentary film will be released later this month. On
the Bienal's Instagram , visual artists, Brazilian cultural figures and collaborators will give testimonials about remarkable works. , encounters provided by the exhibition and sensations caused by the encounter with art.
