The
ArtRio 2025 marks the 15th edition of one of the most relevant art fairs in Latin America. From September 10 to 14, Marina da Glória will host a
meeting that brings together renowned galleries, curated projects, gastronomic experiences, and an intense cultural program that spreads throughout
Rio de Janeiro.

This year, the fair not only consolidates its importance in the arts calendar but also celebrates the debut of the
Rio de Janeiro Art and Culture Week, held in partnership with the city hall. The proposal expands the presence of art beyond the pavilions of Marina
– transforming the capital into an
open-air museum and strengthening the local cultural scene!
Structure and Programming of ArtRio 2025
At the Marina da Glória, ArtRio 2025 will have two main pavilions (Land and Sea) bringing together
more than 80 Brazilian and international galleries. The fair will also feature
video art exhibitions, lectures, musical performances, and special projects that reinforce the commitment to bring the public closer to contemporary artistic production.

One of the highlights is the
division of galleries into three programs: one dedicated to already established names in the
modern and contemporary art market; another that presents authorial projects from one or two artists; and a third focused on initiatives related to Brazilian regional diversity. Works by masters such as
Portinari, Lasar Segall, and Di Cavalcanti share space with contemporary artists such as
Adriana Varejão and Miriam Cahn, reaffirming the diversity of the fair.
Rio Art and Culture Week
For the first time, ArtRio organizes, in partnership with the Municipal Secretary of Culture, the
Rio de Janeiro Art and Culture Week, which takes place from September 7 to 14. The initiative brings
activities in visual arts, cinema, dance, theater, architecture, design, and popular manifestations to different neighborhoods.

The city also transforms into a
gallery in the open air. In partnership with Clear Channel,
posters of works by 15 Brazilian artists — including Vik Muniz, Anna Bella Geiger, Lucia Laguna, and Mulambö — will be exhibited in urban furniture, creating a connection between art and everyday life. The proposal is to
democratize access and impact both residents and visitors.
Gastronomic Experience at Marina da Glória
ArtRio 2025 also invests in a
robust gastronomic area that complements the cultural experience. During the days of the fair,
renowned restaurants will be present in the gardens and pavilions, with a privileged view of Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf.

At the Sea Pavilion,
Canoa presents its celebrated sushi omakase, while the gourmet area features establishments like
Heaven Cucina, specializing in contemporary Italian cuisine;
Gruta do Fado, offering Mediterranean and Portuguese flavors; and
Malta Beef Club, dedicated to special meat cuts. Also included in the selection is
Izar | Maska, which combines influences from Spanish and international cuisine, and
Empório Jardim, already known for its menu versatility.
