Pictures for bedrooms
Designed by architect
Mariana Borges and interior designer
Thaiza Godoy in
CASACOR Minas Gerais , this
bedroom displays an interesting play of textures, with emphasis on the high-relief
panel behind the bed. On top of the panel, the professionals created an
unusual arrangement of pictures , surrounding the side of the
headboard , which draws the attention of anyone entering the room. The result is a delicate décor with neutral colors in harmony.
Architect
Márcio Corrêa sought oriental inspiration to create his space at
CASACOR Brasília . In the bedroom, the low bed creates a Zen atmosphere, accompanied by a palette of soft tones and furniture with organic shapes. The works of art stand out on the headboard — with a canvas resting on the top and another hanging near the side table. Next to the bed, a sideboard at the same height holds sculptures and objects.
Drawings on the wall
There is no shortage of works of art in the space designed by architects
Fernanda Milcent and
Bruna Milcent , from the Milcent Arquitetura office, at
CASACOR Bahia . But, upon entering the
living room , your gaze immediately turns upwards, to the junction between one of the
walls and the
ceiling , where the figures of two men
playing capoeira have been painted, referring to Bahian culture.
Decorated walls
Tarcísio Dantas Arquitetura - Casa Quitéria. Projeto da CASACOR Pernambuco 2024. (Walter Dias/CASACOR)
Many elements draw attention to the house designed by architect
Tarcísio Dantas at
CASACOR Pernambuco , but it is impossible not to notice the works of
folk art that he included in the space. Designed to represent the women from the Northeastern hinterland who migrated to the capital in search of new opportunities, the house has many
regional references , especially the
mud wall . It is on this wall that the architect installed a vibrant composition of
colorful paintings . Other clay pieces arranged in the niches complement the ambiance.
Janaina Araujo - Living Fragmentos. CASACOR Minas Gerais 2024 (Estúdio NY18/CASACOR)
There are works of art in various formats on the wall of the living room decorated by
Janaina Araujo at
CASACOR Minas Gerais . On a
dark wood panel, the professional created an interesting composition with sculptures, paintings and prints in different tones, which brought a relaxed and vibrant air to the space. The result is a combination of contemporary art from Minas Gerais with the casualness of rustic finishes and
natural elements .
Large painting for the living room
Architect
Dolores Landeiro drew inspiration from the work of
Frans Krajcberg to create her space at
CASACOR Bahia , which is filled with works of art.
Mário Cravo Neto ’s
photography captures the cultural and spiritual richness of Bahia, while Andrea Fiamenghi’s imagery brings a contemporary and poetic perspective. In addition, paintings by Rodrigo de Castro and Marcelo Kruschewsky add layers of color and emotion to the space.
Timeless lines mark the project by architect
Mauricio Nóbrega Arquitetura for
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro . The spaces exude the lightness and freshness of a beach house. On the floor and walls, the golden peroba cladding from demolition steals the show and makes a perfect backdrop for the composition of colorful paintings in the living room.
Artsy Laundry
And art in the
laundry room , is that possible?
Brisa Bessa and
Danilo Lopes prove that it is possible with their space at
CASACOR Bahia . The duo paid homage to the washerwomen of Itapuã in every detail. With the aim of creating a cozy and calm space that would remind us of the waters of Salvador, they opted for paintings hanging on the walls and resting on the floor.
Paintings in the master bedroom
(Gabriela Daltro/CASACOR)
In the year that it celebrates its 50th anniversary,
Ilê Aiyê , the first Afro block in Brazil and one of the most important cultural expressions of Salvador's Carnival, inspired architect
Vítor Martins at
CASACOR Bahia . The 45 m² studio has a neutral color base and highlights the colors of the Afro block: red, yellow and black. On the wall behind the bed, a composition of
small paintings by artist Alberto Pitta, who has already created prints for the block, stands out.
Pictures in the kitchen
Checkered flooring and wood paneling on the walls mark the space of the
Beta Arquitetura office in
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro . There is a vintage and charming atmosphere in every corner, especially the kitchen, which, in addition to being fully equipped, has a colorful screen near the island. According to the architects, the style comes from the composition of textures, colors, materials, aroma, landscaping, crafts and works of art.
Tapestry on the wall
Mandril Arquitetura - Cozinha Torno. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024. (Israel Gollino/CASACOR)
Architects
Bruno Reis and
Helena Kallas , from the Mandril Arquitetura office, designed a kitchen and dining room for family gatherings at
CASACOR São Paulo . The
1970s tapestry by Luiz Carlos Alberti is one of the highlights of the space and matches the palette proposed by the professionals, where shades of blue predominate. Art in the bathroom
O Canto de Gil, por João Gabriel. (Gabriela Daltro/CASACOR)
The hall leading to the bathrooms welcomes visitors with sophistication and emotion in the project by architect
João Gabriel for
CASACOR Bahia . This is because the professional pays homage to the black cultural heritage and the music of Gilberto Gil and, in this space, created a kind of gallery with
ceramic sculptures that represent Brazilian folk art. Known for the decolonial approach with which he works, João incorporated Mexican, Asian and African cultural elements into the space.
