During the period of social isolation, museums and galleries are physically closed, but art has not stopped stimulating people's creativity and critical thinking. It has been essential for maintaining individuals' mental health. In addition to cinema, literature and music, several other manifestations are taking place online.

Several museums have made their collections available for free online. Interested parties from all over the world can see the most important works of art in the history of humanity displayed at the Louvre or MoMA in New York. The exhibitions at MASP and MAM in São Paulo are also available through the Google Art and Culture project, which has compiled more than 500 museums and art galleries for virtual visits. Other museums and galleries in São Paulo also have exclusive digital exhibitions. Check out some of them! Itaú Cultural – Sandra Cinto: from Ideas in the Head to Eyes in the Sky In Sandra Cinto: from Ideas in the Head to Eyes in the Sky , curator Paulo Herkenhoff and Itaú Cultural (IC) present an overview of the artist's 30 years of production. Picture Gallery The Pinacoteca de São Paulo has launched a virtual tour that allows visitors to stroll through the halls of its permanent collection. In addition, it has launched the #PinadeCasa project, revisiting one of the works in its collection every morning on Instagram , with an analysis and interesting facts brought by one of its curators. The works exhibited at the Pinacoteca can also be viewed on the institution's profile on Google Art and Culture.

Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB) - Ancient Egypt: from Everyday Life to Eternity The exhibition Ancient Egypt: From Everyday Life to Eternity was seen by more than 1.4 million people in Rio de Janeiro and recently arrived at the CCBB São Paulo, where it will remain until May 11. Through the Musea app, it is possible to access the exhibition, which features 140 pieces on loan from the Egyptian Museum of Turin (Italy), home to the second largest Egyptological collection in the world.
