Given the significant production of
contemporary art in Brazil, architecture and design professionals at
CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis decided to bring the visiting public closer to the most interesting artists on the current scene. Whether as part of the décor, as an invitation to contemplation or in gallery style, art is consolidated as one of the highlights of this edition. One of the environments where the works appear in the most expressive quantity is
Galeria 3A , a project by
Rico Mendonça . Inspired by the Brazilian architecture of the 70s and the brutalist aesthetic, the architect created three distinct spaces, with few elements, that establish a narrative between stone and bronze sculptures by artist
Pita Camargo , headdresses by
Marco Bazzo from Curitiba and watercolors of birds by
Mariana Prestes .
In addition to the gallery, the Circulation with Accessibility environment, by professionals Heloisa Regis Vaz , Silvya Caprario , Ingrid Lima , Rosa Maria Garay and Valquiria Mendes da Silva , proves that places that pass by can also find a moment for contemplation. It features works from the series De Tactography Photography, by Gabriel Bonfim , portraits “visible to the blind”, made with 3D scanning in assisted design software from the original photograph, and later printed in relief. A true immersion is carried out at
Casa Hercílio Luz , an environment designed by
Eduarda Tonietto . The proposal is a journey through the history of the property that hosts the exhibition, the Cidade Milano development. In museum style, it features photographs, paintings, installations and sculptures, without take away the essential protagonism of the house.
Furthermore, the
Albergo Suite by
Gabriela Herde A&D is inspired by the New York lofts of the 1950s to present works that refer to pop art, such as Ursas, by
Evandro Karvat . Large-scale photographs are part of the
Living Paradise collection, by architect
Yael Gossis and designer
Marisa Lebarbenchon . It features the work Árvore da Vida, by
Patricia Vieira , a triptych that depicts the Shajarat-al-Hayat tree, measuring approximately 30 meters in height. which is located in the Bahrain desert, in the Middle East.
