Dubbed “
Paris+ par Art Basel ,” the world’s most celebrated art fair network unveils its gallery lineup for its debut edition at the
Grand Palais Éphémère in the heart of the French capital. According to the exhibition’s directors: “The event is with the aim of connecting the entire arts market network: the cultural industry, artists and the public. The proposal is to create an
emblematic event that will spread throughout the city, embedded in its exceptional cultural ecosystem.”

Contrary to those who were betting on a slowdown in art fairs due to the pandemic, the fair by the Swiss group MCH has once again stirred up the multi-million dollar market for artistic works, as the 2021 Miami edition already showed. For this debut edition, Paris+ par Art Basel will bring together
156 French and international galleries to present their works of art in all media: from paintings and sculptures to photographs, installations and digital works.

In addition to France, exhibitors from across Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America and the Middle East will be present, including several gallery owners who will be making their debut at the event such as Galerie Anne Barrault, Christian Berst art Brut, Magnin-A, Salle Principale and We Do Not Work Alone from Paris; Efremidis and Heidi from Berlin; Galerie Cécile Fakhoury with spaces in Abidjan, Dakar and Paris; LC Queisser from Tbilisi; Seventeen from London; Chris Sharp Gallery from Los Angeles; and Tim van Laere Gallery from Antwerp. “I am truly honored to announce the outstanding line-up of exhibitors participating in the inaugural edition of our fair in Paris. This composition of the gallery roster reflects our commitment to creating an
exhibition that is both specific to the host city and has a
strong global resonance ,” says the event director,
Clément Delépine . The main section of the fair will feature
140 of the world’s leading galleries , showcasing the highest quality painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, photography, video and digital works.

Dedicated to emerging galleries around the world, the fair features a wing called
Galeries Émergentes and will feature
16 solo shows . Exhibitors include Antenna Space from Shanghai; Instituto de Visão from Bogotá and New York; LC Queisser from Tbilisi; Marfa', Beirut; Parliament, Paris; Dawid Radziszewski Gallery, Warsaw and Veda, Florence.

Supported by Groupe Galeries Lafayette, an artist from Galeries Émergentes will be chosen to exhibit at Lafayette Antecipations the following year.
Site Specific Installations
There are several installations distributed throughout the city. In this first edition, the installations will occupy
emblematic locations in Paris , including the Jardin des Tuileries – Domaine national du Louvre, Place Vendôme, the Musée national Eugène-Delacroix and the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins des Beaux-Arts. from Paris.
