Anyone who thinks that the year only starts after Carnival couldn't be more wrong. The cultural circuit of several capitals is already buzzing with new exhibitions. In São Paulo, the CCBB is hosting the Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibition, with more than 80 works by the American artist. The CCBB Rio de Janeiro is hosting the Ex África exhibition, and in Belo Horizonte, FILE , the largest electronic art festival in Latin America, is taking place.
With more than 80 works by New Yorker Jean-Michel Basquiat, including paintings, drawings and engravings, the artist's retrospective will be in São Paulo until April 7, from where it will travel to Brasília, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro.
The exhibition featured private collections from several countries, curated by Pieter Tjabbes.
